After watching a recent hands-off demo of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which in my opinion looks like one of the most interesting new RPGs incoming in 2025, I was particularly taken by what I perceived to be the game’s indebtedness to the great turn-based RPG series, Persona, and specifically its latest and greatest release, Persona 5 Royal.

Battlefield 2042 is a little more futuristic than Modern Warfare 3, but the relentless march of time puts 2042 less than 20 years from now—that’s closer than the release date of the original Call of Duty, in case you were looking for a reason to feel old. Late last year, CD Projekt Red announced it would step back from development of its free-to-play collectible card game Gwent, with new cards continuing to be added in 2023, but the card pool be considered complete after that, and further balance changes left up to the players.

Update 11.10 is the final CD Projekt update, and as Molegion in the overview video explains, “This is the last handmade developer-prepared content update for Gwent, so after this we won’t be preparing changes to cards any more. Instead we will be using a system, you can see it in the main menu, it’s called balance council.”

We’ve all at some point encountered a bug that gives us what feels like infinite gas, typically after spending time around small children or eating a dodgy kebab. One Helldivers 2 player had a much more extreme effluvial experience while battling the Terminid scourge, suffering a case of infinite gas so bad that it ultimately killed them.

The player, going by the wonderful Reddit name UnexpectedRoundHouse, posted a video to the Helldivers subreddit displaying the unfortunate incident. RoundHouse was several minutes into a ‘Launch ICBM’ mission when they called in an ‘Orbital Gas Strike’ stratagem on a bug breach.
